Welcome to the Kidder Twp. Volunteer Fire Company #1 Web Site.
Carbon County Fire District 18
Our department serves the residents and guests of Kidder Township, located in the northern portion of Carbon County, Pennsylvania, as well as the surrounding areas. We are a 100% volunteer department and have been providing fire protection and rescue services since 1948. We are dispatched simultaneously, by the Carbon County Communications Center, with two other companies within the township: District 16-Albrightsville Volunteer Fire Company and District 17-Lake Harmony Fire Department.
Our station is located on State Route 534, near the west entrance of Hickory Run State Park in the Tannery section of the township.
Feel free to take a look around the site and learn a little about the volunteers that protect the area.
