Kidder Twp. Volunteer Fire Company No. 1

At. 1345hrs., units dispatched to Route 534 between Hickory Run State Park and the golf course for the vehicle fire. Engine 1811 responded to check the area from station 18 to the golf course and vehicle was found approx. 1/2 mile from station 18, with the engine compartment fully involved. (1) 1 3/4 handline and 500 gals. water were used to extinguish the fire, with the fire only advancing to the dashboard. Units remained on scene for approx. 45 mins.
