At 1625 hrs., District 18 was dispatched to assist Wright Twp., Luzerne County on a large brush fire. The Engine, Tanker and Brush responded and assisted in tanker shuttles, extinguishing some of the fire and containment of back fires. Companies from all over Luzerne and Carbon Counties were called in due to the size of the fire and to assist with water supply. Dist. 18 units operated for approx. 4 hours before being released by Wright Twp. Fire Command.
